The V Society has recently updated the Operation Requirements for Races and the Limited Race Authorization Agreement, implementing the most radical change in the sponsorship policy in the history of the Anti-Terrorism Elite, which explicitly prohibits gaming web sites, open-box platforms, trade/market services based on game proprietors, and any third-party platform based on economic models in the V Society ‘ s game, to appear in the electric competition.

This provision applies to all V-authorized events, regardless of rank, which means that international large events and small regional events are subject to compliance. Organizers must also reject the sponsorship of companies whose sources of income violate the Steam Users Agreement or take advantage of V Society ‘ s intellectual property rights. This essentially clears the grey areas that for many years have allowed third-party props platforms to operate around occupational CS2. The top teams, including Team Vitality, Mouz and The MongolZ, which are participating in the 2025 StarLadder Budapest Major competition, have started removing skin-related sponsorship from the uniforms and promotional materials. Such cooperation had been a key economic pillar for some of the ranks (particularly the 2nd and 3rd Lines).

Skin-related sponsorship has been a lifeline in areas of non-capture units where traditional sponsorship income is difficult to obtain. Some small competition organizers are reassessing their budgets, and industry sources have revealed that the sponsorship system may face restructuring as organizations seek new sources of income. The intention of Society V is clear: to protect V.S.IP from unregulated third-party economic systems; to limit the legal risk of advertising related to gambling; to eliminate ecological loopholes in the use of C.S. devices; and to reaffirm control over commercial activities around games. Unlike traditional websites, the accessories platform operates directly and benefits from the digital economy of V. This is the first time that V Society has made a clear opposition to such a relationship. The renovation was not an interim measure, but a structural change — forcing the team and the sponsors to rethink the way in which the operation was financed. It is foreseen that the sponsorship system will be reorganized by multiple teams; that there will be increased pressure on traditional electric competition sponsors to fill vacancies; that small events that rely heavily on skin sponsorship may contract; and that a more regulated and regulated sponsorship environment will be created in the long term.

In the low-profit, stable-income, low-income electricity competition, V Society removed one of the most influential and controversial sources of financing for CS2. The V Society has drawn a line: the gaming CS2 no longer allows for the sponsorship of gaming or opening platforms. This decision brought to an end the old chapter that defined the game ‘ s business landscape for almost a decade, opening a new era in which priority was given to IP protection and regulatory security rather than grey market revenues. Whether this shift will strengthen or impact the ecology of the event will depend on the resilience of the team, the sponsors and the sponsors in the coming months.
